Film Emulation Palette

Before digital processing, color was defined by the photochemistry of film stocks — each with its own spectral sensitivity, saturation curve, and characteristic cast. This palette evokes the warm highlights, muted shadows, and faded midtones of iconic analog film.

The grain of a 35mm print — warm highlights bleeding into cream, shadows going greenish rather than pure black, the slight haze that digital perfection can't replicate.

Editorial direction

Collections should do more than group swatches. Each one should read like a usable design direction with a clear emotional lane and a real application surface.

This detail route is the missing layer between a generic palette gallery and a convincing design reference. It gives the set a specific point of view.
