关于梵高《鸢尾花》About Van Gogh's Irises
梵高 1890 年的油画，一大把鸢尾插在白瓶里。据大都会艺术博物馆的介绍，他画的是粉色背景上的紫色鸢尾，所用的红色颜料不耐光、已经褪色，所以今天花看起来是蓝的、背景是灰白。这里的颜色描述的是博物馆照片现在的样子。
主色是花瓣的鸢尾蓝，浅色是受光的花瓣，深底取自花瓣最深的阴影，点缀是桌面的绿。蓝绿相邻，整体安静，适合做阅读类页面。
Van Gogh's 1890 oil of a large bunch of irises in a white vase. According to The Met, he painted violet irises against a pink background; his red pigments were fugitive and have faded, so today the flowers read blue on a grey-white ground. These colours describe the museum's photograph as it is now.
The main colour is the iris blue of the petals, the light tone their lit edges, the dark base the deepest shadows in the petals, and the accent the green of the tabletop. Blue beside green keeps it calm, which suits reading-heavy pages.
