The red 'A' that defined 40 years of creative software.
Adobe's #FA0F00 red is one of the most-imitated identity colors in software, dating to John Warnock and Chuck Geschke's 1982 founding. The red is intentionally aggressive — Adobe Creative Cloud's product mark is red, every Save dialog cue is red — but the supporting palette across each product family is deeply considered, with photoshop blue, illustrator orange, and indesign pink all carving out distinct sub-identities.
