PlayStation Color Palette

Four shapes, four hues — the most enduring gamepad identity in console history.

PlayStation's four controller-button colors — green triangle, pink circle, blue X, purple square — have remained essentially unchanged since 1994. The palette doubles as Sony Interactive Entertainment's brand vocabulary: the four hues appear in marketing illustrations, packaging, and event signage. The supporting brand color is the cobalt blue (#003791) of the PlayStation wordmark.
